About the seminar
Since its inception in 2011, the seminar “Behind the Teacher’s Desk (BTTD)“ has blossomed into one of the most sought-after events among the student fraternity of India. BTTD has been held annually at the CSIR-NML Jamshedpur and attracts more than 200 students from across the country. The event provides a launch pad for the students to showcase themselves and interact with scientists, eminent metallurgists, engineers and entrepreneurs to develop new skills in metallurgy and materials technology.

Abstract Submission
Interested students should submit an abstract (300 words max) in MS word format and send it by email to bttd.iimjsr@gmail.com . The abstract template is available at https://iimjsr.com/bttd-2025/, the BTTD 2025 website.

Online Registration
For participation, online registration can be done through the google link (https://forms.gle/J1EazrqDiZ2rG3uLA ) available in the BTTD 2025 website (https://iimjsr.com/bttd-2025/ ). Participants must carefully fill out the online registration form with a valid email ID.
Outstation students will be offered free shared hostel accommodation. Details of accommodation will be sent to the registered BTTD 2025 participants.
