Technica’25, Inaugurated at NIT Jamshedpur by Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering on March 28, 2025 at NIT Jamshedpur
The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in association with Indian Institute of Metals, Jamshedpur Chapter successfully inaugurated Technica-2025, a prestigious annual technical fest aimed at fostering innovation and knowledge-sharing in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering at the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. The event was chaired by Prof. Ashok Kumar, Head of the Department, and witnessed an esteemed gathering of industry experts, academicians, and students.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. T. Bhaskar, Chief Quality Assurance, Long Product Tata Steel, as the Chief Guest, alongside Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Chief Scientist, NML Jamshedpur, as the Guest of Honour. The event was further honored by the presence of Prof. Ram Vinoy Sharma, Deputy Director of NIT Jamshedpur. Dr. Prakash Sarkar and Dr. Amit Patel served as the Prof. In-charge and Convener of Technica-2025 and SMES, respectively.
The valedictory session was chaired by Mr Rajive Shukla, CEO of Himalaya Enterprises and Prof. Ram Vinoy Sharma, Deputy Director, NIT Jamshedpur. The event was concluded with the distribution of prizes to 40 students of various Instutions and certificates to the winners of the events were distributed by the chief Guest and Director in charge.
